John Hay is a picture book author who loves funny stories. He first started making them up when his son was small and although his son is now grown up, John still tries to make him laugh. He is the author of The Owl Who Came for Christmas, Fly, Fly, Fly Your Sleigh and The Penguin Who Lost His Way. John lives in London with his wife and two bad cats.

Garry Parsons
Garry Parsons studied Fine Art at Canterbury and has an MA in Sequential Design from the University of Brighton. Illustrator of the smash-hit Dinosaur that Pooped series of books written by McFly’s Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter, Garry’s artwork also regularly appears in magazines and newspapers in Britain and the USA including Vanity Fair, The Times, Men’s Health and Marie Claire. Garry also produces illustrations for advertising and has worked for Proctor and Gamble, Affinity Foods and Harrods. He was listed in The Bookseller as one of 2015’s Top Ten bestselling children’s illustrators in the UK. Garry lives in London.
