Thomas Chua is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He spent the last 7 years working as a financial auditor and risk consultant from late 2013 to 2020. During these periods, he was involved in various consultancy engagements such as pre-IPO Internal Control Framework Review and Enterprise Risk Management for entities undergoing listing exercise on Bursa Malaysia, SGX and HKEx.

Throughout his career, he has gained valuable insights about Malaysia’s listed companies and the industry they are operating in. This has somewhat helped him on his stock investment journey in both the Malaysia and US Stock Market. He believes that “the pathway to mastery is to teach” and that’s why he wrote this book in hope to educate new investors on the DOs and DON’Ts about stock investing.
